About my work
Elissa Madin is a Hand Embroiderer from Shropshire, who holds a BA(Hons) in Hand Embroidery from the prestigious Royal School of Needlework and an MA in Interdisciplinary Practice from Glyndwr University.
Her work takes influence from a lifetime of collecting beautiful objects, and a passion for social history. She has worked extensively with Anut Cairo in London, Cairo and Athens as well as brands including Alexander McQueen, Miu Miu, Nicholas Oakwell, Hand and Lock, Lock and Co, Tamara Ralph and Miss Sohee.
Elissa is available for bespoke embroidery commissions, textile and embroidery restoration and fashion and interior freelancing.
